DV520T – Multi-functional Digital Video Camera from Mustek

DV520T compact product from Mustek (Most Unique Sensible Technology”) will not allow the user to switch electronic gadgets frequently. If the user gets bored of taking pictures and would like to listen to songs, yes it is possible by just plugging the head phone as this product consists of MP3 feature. Like wise there are 7 functions build in this compact and mini camcorder with the height 4.0, thickness 0.8″ and length 2.0″. The Mustek  DV520T Mini Camcorder resembles a mobile phone with a 2.0” swivel TFT (thin film transistor) LCD monitor. TFT screen improves the image quality and the power consumption is less. It can also be used as PC cam.

The wide-angle aperture ratio is F2.8 for the mini camcorder. The aperture allows more light to reach the image sensor, and hence a faster shutter speed. A faster shutter speed freezes action giving pictures that are not blurred.

Storage option

The storage option for the DV520T digital camera camcorder is just 64 MB but it consists of an SD card slot. A maximum of 2 GB card could be inserted in to the slot. 2.0 inch  LTPS Swivel LCD

The LCD screen is of LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) type. The LTPS is made of larger and uniform grains of poly silicon. This allows the electrons to flow 100 times faster than other type. This ensures good resolution and greater speed. The row/ column driver electronics are integrated on to the glass substrate, which reduces the wiring amid the pixels resulting in close knit pixel. Hence it is possible to achieve density of 200 dpi and greater.

Mustek had put a sincere effort for fusing seven functions in one device. At the same time, a little more concern on the video quality should have been delved a bit deeper. But if that would have been accomplished, then another major constrain “selling price” would shoot up. The product is highly affordable and is definitely embraced by the youth. With that price and features they would fill their blogs with home made videos and stills.
